The exhibition ‘Legendary Masters’ shown at Qing Gallery provides a glimpse into the history and the art historical narrative The AFK Collection has set down via the act of collection building. By showcasing a series of seminal artworks by Malaysian contemporary art masters this exhibition traces the way a local contemporary art movement blossomed, along with the manner in which The AFK Collection identified this art movement and created a cohesive home for it.
